History of the Best by Keiphus

Back when the first Official TAO forum came up, we all lived in relative peace and harmony. These forums were owned by a player name Kuban.

Then, a while after their creation, a kid came along by the name of PYRO.

Golems had just come out, and dragons were about to be released.

As soon as they were released, PYRO posted about 6 threads all about dragons. All of the threads were completely stupid, useless, and if I remember correct were filled with one liners.

I replied to him, telling him to shut the hell up. I attacked every post he made with utter disregard for his feelings; all of this in hope it would knock some sense into him.

Reading all of this was a kid named AlphaEcho.
He saw my posts, and was equally disgusted by this kid posting all of this spam.

Now, you have to take into consideration that PYRO was not the first spammer on our forums. There were others, but he was the one who did it the worst, and finally broke the camels back.

So anyway, I started telling him what he was doing wrong, and told him to get outa the forums etc.
Then, AlphaEcho made a signature, and it said, "BURN PYRO AT THE STAKE, KEIPHUS FOR MODERATOR," with a picture of PYRO's avatar burning.
From there, we had other people equally interested in getting rid of the noobie population.
AlphaEcho and I decided to start a guild of some sort. As soon as we were in the consideration process, someone else joined us. His name was TheRapizt. Together, the power of 3 created the official NoobSlayers.

The Evolution of the Slayers

Because of the NoobSlayers, the TAO community was given a clan system. Everyone can thank us for it.

Before the clan system came out, there was a player that stood out to us, that we desperately wanted. His name was Dragonscall. Many consider him the best tactical player in the games history, few differ on that opinion. Dragonscall did not wish to be a part of a clan that was aimed at only playing noobs.

This was when we decided to change our name. Before the clan system was out, the people you formerly knew as the NoobSlayers was now known as the Slayers Guild.

Around mid November 03 after the first official newbie crisis being PYRO was resolved. Moose suggested on introducing clans to TAO. After all many games had there own clans and a lot of people were in agreement.

This in turn led to the assessment that the noobs of TAO had to be dealt with thus creating the first clan before the clan system, "Noob Slayers" which would eventually give birth to the Slayers Guild. Along with trying to make PYRO, Miri and Kain Highwinds life miserable, Noob Slayers started there forums, banners and website in order to help remove the early noob threat to Legends.

Within the next week, the clan system had been established where a person with a gold account could create a clan and be the leader of it and invite as many people as he wanted.

The Prime of Slayers Guild

As time went on, we recruited the greatest players TAO had to offer. These people included; Moose, Quicks, King, TehSimon, xOneTuffRabbitx, Merforga, Cyrus Bloodbane, and many more of the greatest players TAO had ever seen.

We have the most extensive clan setup anyone can dream of having. Together we own over 10 clans, and we have our very own Slayers Guild Bootcamp. We filter out players and losers and spies who we know aren't SG material.
We also have the best players TAO has to offer, and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.
Seed was even at one point a member of our clan, but had to leave for personal reasons.
